Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are expected to be the three teams who will be most busy when it comes to deadline day of the summer transfer window on Tuesday.

England is the only country, amongst the major leagues, to still have their transfer window open, owing to Monday being a bank holiday.

That means there is still time for the big clubs to make their "man I did not see that coming" moves and for the rest of the pack to add to the already growing list of quality players in the English Premier League.

David De Gea will be one who will be a Manchester United player for this season, though, at least until January (unless he thinks Chelsea, Arsenal and London is as close to Madrid as he can get), after his Real Madrid move failed to be completed at the last minute, owing to the relevant paperwork not arriving on time.

Spain's transfer window closed on Monday, leaving all the Premier League clubs to make their moves.

While it might seem like a good idea to have one day on your own to do some transfer business, the problem also lies in the fact that it will be equally difficult to push through those big moves, purely because the clubs that sell will then not have a chance to buy a replacement.

In Arsenal's case for instance, if they make a move for Edinson Cavani, it is not like PSG can then put in a big-money bid for someone like an Alexandre Lacazette, because the French transfer window is closed.

Therefore, the likes of Arsene Wenger, Ed Woodward, Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Marina Granovskaia will have some serious negotiating to do, if they are to convince the clubs to sell.

There is, of course, the option of buying from the Premier League, but then the options become so restricted, and how many players are there, really, who can strengthen the top six a little bit more – not too many.

Manchester United look like they have got a strike in Anthony Martial, while they are now unlikely to make a move for a goalkeeper, considering De Gea is staying, which means the most likely transfer that could happen at Old Trafford on Tuesday is a big-name – like that extraordinary Gareth Bale (never going to happen, I know) transfer.

Arsenal are in for a striker – the likes of Cavani, Karim Benzema (another one that is never going to happen) and Gonzalo Higuain have been linked – and a defensive midfielder, with the Bender brothers, William Carvalho, out injured at the moment, and Grzegorz Krychowiak the options.

Chelsea are reportedly close to signing Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji, and we'll know by 6 pm BST (10.30 pm IST) today if that Paul Pogba move happens or not.

There will be plenty of interest elsewhere as well – although Manchester City and Liverpool are not expected to be too busy – with Tottenham probably making a few signings, while, with all that TV money lying around, the rest of the Premier League clubs could also bring in a few interesting names.
