"Rosewood" returns on Fox with a new murder case at 8pm on Wednesday, 14 October. Episode 4, titled "Vandals and Vitamins", will also focus on the relationship between Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), private pathologist Dr Beaumont Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) and Kat Crawford (Nicole Ari Parker).
The official synopsis of the sequel reads: "When the private pathologist and the detective suspect a brilliant doctor has killed two of his patients, they must find a way to make their case with limited evidence. Meanwhile, Villa spars with Captain Hornstock when he discourages her from pursuing an uncertain case. Also, the title character receives an anonymous letter revealing something that could change his life forever".

"Profit" star Adrian Pasdar will make a guest appearance in the show and portray a negative character. The actor will play Dr Derek Foster, who is a prime suspect in the death of two of his patients, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Other celebrities to appear in the sequel include Lorraine Toussaint as Donna Rosewood, Gabrielle Dennis as Pippy Rosewood, Anna Konkle as Tara Milly Izikoff, Richard Greene as Alexis Stavros, Merle Dandridge as Charlotte, Deborah Rayne as Eva Freydont, Rayna Tharani as Felicia, Kim H. Howard as Thalia Stavros, Manuel Eduardo Ramirez as Patrol Officer, Anita Vogel as Reporter and David A. Kimball as David Moran.
