As though Rahul Gandhi doesn't give the internet enough meme-worthy content, the Congress president caused a frenzy when he was caught on camera winking. The moment instantly went viral and people got down to trolling the Gandhi family member.
The hilarious moment took place during the no-confidence motion against the NDA government taking place on Friday, July 20. Gandhi's wink happened after he finished his speech in the Lok Sabha and hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Aap logon ke andar mere liye nafrat hai. Aap mujhe Pappu aur bohot gaaliyan dekar bula sakte hain. Lekin mere andar aapke liye nafrat nahi hai (You have hatred for me. You can abuse me and call me Pappu but I have no hatred against you)," Rahul said in his speech before hugging PM Modi.
Twitter instantly began comparing Rahul with the internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier, who became the talk of the town earlier this year for her wink in a Malayalam film song. Photo comparisons were drawn to ask internet users: Who's wink was better: Rahul Gandhi or Priya Prakash Varrier.
In February, when the first song of Malayalam movie's Oru Adaar Love released, men went gaga over the actress's expression and a wink. Now, when the RaGa wink was unleashed, a lot of women online are going gaga.
