Two teams languishing at the bottom of the second edition of the Pro Kabaddi League 2015 – Jaipur Pink Panthers and Patna Pirates – are set for an important clash on Sunday at Sawai Man Singh stadium in Jaipur.

The ongoing second edition of the Pro Kabaddi League has not been good for either teams, especially Jaipur Pink Panthers, who are the defending champions. There are huge expectations from the team this season as well, but things have not looked good for them as they have lost two in two matches so far.

Compare this record to last season, where Jaipur only lost three matches in the entire group stages and came up with a spirited display in the business end of the competition.

Jaipur have not been too bad in their performances as they have lost both their previous games against U Mumba and Bengal Warriors by 1 and 2 points respectively. The Pink Panthers will be eager to open their points tally on Sunday against Patna Pirates, who have also lost two in two matches.

Patna have suffered losses against U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls and their team must start winning matches this season if they are to climb up the standings table. In the last edition of the tournament, Patna finished a respectable third in the competition.

Patna might want to improve upon their last season's performance this time around.

Hence, there are plenty of reasons for both Jaipur and Patna to open their points tally. When these two teams met last in the semi-finals of the 2014 Pro Kabaddi League, Jaipur emerged triumphant and if they want a similar result at Sawai Man Singh stadium on Sunday, their captain Navneet Gautam needs to be on top of his game. Apart from skipper Rajesh Narwal, Kuldeep Singh needs to lead the team from the front.

These players will be buoyed by the home crowd, who are going to support the Jaipur Pink Panthers to the hilt and make sure that their team comes out on top.

Rakesh Kumar and Deepak Narwal, who are going to be two of the key players for Patna Pirates, should not allow their concentration be destroyed by the crowd at Sawai Man Singh.

Neither team wants to lose the match as they will have a tough time climbing up the standings chart with U Mumba and Telugu Titans having already shown their class and quality in the squad by winning all their respective matches so far.  Other teams such as Bengaluru Bulls have also started the competition brightly.
