December has just begun and film makers are already creating the buzz for the upcoming year, leaving movie watchers to begin their countdown. One among the many movies that is expected to set the screen on fire is 'Transformers: The Last Knight.' Scheduled to release next summer, the movie's trailer was recently released.

Starting out on a slow pace, the trailer gives us a sneak-peek into the clash of two very surprising characters. The trailer begins with a narration by actor Anthony Hopkins and sees unraveling the plotline, highlighting that the machines are here to take over the humans. Gradually building up, the narration emphasizes that without sacrifice, there could be no victory. "Two species at war, one flesh, one metal, optimums prime has left us. You want to know, don't you, why they keep coming here?" says the narration. According to the trailer, Transformers: The Last Knight begins where Transformers: Age of Extinction concluded, with Optimus Prime heading out into space with the Seed in order to confront the creators.

Looks like Director Michael Bay has decided to head to the past as he presented the trailer of the series' fifth edition in an old-fashioned style. Through the two-odd-minute clip, the director has travelled through the dinosaur era, transporting viewers to the World War scenario and dropped them in the present human Vs machine war zone. As you near the conclusion of the trailer, you are in for a surprise. A reluctant Optimus Prime is seen attacking Mark Wahlberg, leaving every viewer asking – "what is going on? So exactly are the enemies here?"

Presenting the fifth edition of the Transformers series, the trailer promises fantastic visual effects and new characters – played by Isabela Moner and Laura Haddock – are seen included in the cast and crew of the film. The film is set to release on June 23, 2017 and is coincidentally (or maybe not) the same weekend the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) and Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) was opened.
