The 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be held with much fanfare on Thursday and is one of the most sought after parades in the United States.

Timing: The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off at 9am EST on 27 November.

Weather Condition: It will be partly cloudy and sunny and blustery conditions will be seen at times, according to AccuWeather. Temperatures will hover around 30F (few degrees above 0C) when the parade starts, and will rise gradually. Strong gusts of winds of nearly 30 mph could disrupt some balloon shows, according to forecasts.

Route Map: (See the second picture of the slide above) The parade will start on 77th Street & Central park West at 9am and it will make a final turn and stop in front of Macy's Herald Square. More information on the parade and route can be retrieved via the official Macy's parade website.

Best View: Macy's official site has suggested rushing to the following areas as early as possible for best view of the parade:

Central Park West - Anywhere along Central Park West from 77th Street to Columbus Circle will give an onlooker one of the best views.

Central Park South at Sixth Avenue - As the parade makes its way from Columbus Circle, onlookers have been promised a great view from this area as it goes down 6th Avenue.

The next best spot would be anywhere along Sixth Avenue from 59th Street to 38th Street if getting to Central Park West proves to be too difficult.

Live Streaming Information: One can tune in to NBC Thursday morning to watch the parade via TV. It will also be aired starting 9am on CBS.

The parade can also be watched via online live stream in Macy's Parade website on the morning of the event.
