The year-end is turning out to be a starry event as the past few weeks have seen numerous official trailers making their way to fans. Adding another trailer release to the list is of The Fate of the Furious. The makers of the Fast and Furious franchises released the first trailer for the upcoming movie. The eighth Fast and Furious movie will be the first through the franchise that will not have Paul Walker featuring in it.

The trailer shows Vin Diesel up against the Furious family as he teams up with Charlize Theron, a high-tech terrorist. In the trailer, we see Diesel betraying his family and go to all limits to destroy the people he once loved.

Not knowing the reason behind his move, the movie will see every Furious member battling against Diesel to save the world. The action-packed trailer begins with the crew making an escape as they release a wrecking ball that rams through the police cars and Dom (played by Diesel) turns them over as he flees the scene. Through the trailer, it is seen that with the help of high-profile special investigators, the Furious crew understands his motives. The remaining trailer showcases numerous efforts taken by the team to fight against their beloved member of the squad.

The film stars Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russell, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren and Elsa Pataky. Announced in a Facebook Live session, the makers officially confirmed that Fast and Furious 8 will be titled as The Fate of the Furious. The trailer was earlier titled Fast 8. Directed by F Gary Gary, The Fate of the Furious will release in theatres on April 14, 2017.
