Chelsea travel to Shropshire to take on League Two Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

The Blues will be hoping to get back to winning ways following their dramatic English Premier League draw at Manchester United in their last fixture.

Chelsea seemed in control of the game after veteran striker Didier Drogba put them ahead in the 53rd minute.

But a last minute freekick, following Branislav Ivanovic's foul on Angel di Maria which resulted in the former being booked and sent off, saw Manchester United nick an equaliser through Robin van Persie and salvage a point in the most dramatic fashion.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho later blamed Phil Dowd for his side's draw against Manchester United.

While Dowd booked seven Chelsea players, meaning the Blues will be slapped with a £25,000 fine, he did not award a penalty to Mourinho's side even though Ivanovic was clearly brought down by Chris Smalling inside the box.

However, Chelsea will want to forget everything that happed at Old Trafford and focus their energies on Shrewsbury Town.

Despite being the clear favourites to win this game even without the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Ramires, Mourinho says that he is not taking the League Two side lightly.

"Every game is important," Mourinho told the club's official website. "Shrewsbury in the Capital One Cup is not a friendly.

"We have to play matches with respect and the best way to respect Shrewsbury is to go there with a good team, not to go there with a weak team and lose. We will go there with a good team. If they win they win, but they win against a good team"

The 51-year-old boss, who feels that the Blues have not have enough time to prepare, revealed that Andre Schurrle, Mohammad Salah, Kurt Zouma, Nathan Ake and John Obi Mikel start against Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

"We've only had one day to prepare but when you look at the players who didn't play – Schurrle, Salah, Zouma, Ake, Mikel – these boys are obviously going to have to play. After that I have to play with players that played the game against Man United."

Meanwhile, Shrewsbury Town will be hoping to get a positive result against the Blues and progress to the next round of the Capital one Cup despite them being the underdogs.

They have done well in the Capital One Cup so far, beating the likes of Blackpool (1-0), Leicester City (1-0) and Norwich City (1-0) to reach the fourth round of the competition.

However, Premier League leaders Chelsea, despite being without their strikers Costa and Remy, will still prove to be a big challenge to the League Two side.

Yet, Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon is determined to make things as hard as possible for Mourinho's men on Tuesday night.

"It's a cup tie, we want to try to win and get to the quarterfinals, we are not going to come and make numbers up. We are going to try to knock them out," Mellon said.

Mellon, who has done well since his arrival at Shrewsbury town this summer, feels that his side will learn a lot after playing with Chelsea.

"I want to learn everything about how the best in the business operates," he added. "If we can take anything from that and make this wonderful football club better.Then I'm determined to that, I want to take any opportunity to move us forwards."
