"The Big Bang Theory" is back after a two-week-long break to air its episode 10. The network last aired episode 9 on 19 November and it showed the awkward moments Amy-Sheldon relationship was going through. But after waiting all through the ninth season so far, it looks like fans will finally get to see the couple reconciling.

Last time on episode 9, we saw that Sheldon and Amy decided to be friends and spent Thanksgiving at the aquarium together. Though there were some awkward moments and annoyance, Amy answers Sheldon's questions about her dating life honestly and they agree they wanted each other to be happy.

And when everything is going fine, and they fall back to being friends, Amy calls Sheldon and asks to give their relationship another shot. Amy blatantly asked if she could be his girlfriend again, and Sheldon turns her down by saying that getting over her was too hard the first time. At the end of it, Amy is seen walking out disheartened and hurt.

The Sheldon-Amy relationship will be the focus of this week's episode 10 as well. Fans, who have been waiting to see their favourite geeky couple take their relationship to the next level, will get to witness Amy-Sheldon reunion in "The Earworm Reverberation" where the couple will end up kissing.

The promo of the episode drops a major clue about how the two nerds will get one step closer to losing their virginity, which is expected to happen in episode 11. The preview clip shows Sheldon regretting his decision of turning down Amy's offer and will come to realise how much he cares for her.

He is plagued by a song by the Beach Boys and is driving Penny and Leonard crazy by constantly humming it. Soon, he has a eureka moment when he realises that the lyrics of the song narrates the story of him and Amy. He will head to Amy's and will end up telling her that she is like an "earworm in his heart".

The official plot synopsis of episode 10 reads: "Sheldon has a revelation when he realizes why a song gets stuck in his head. Plus, Howard and Raj become obsessed with a fan of their band Footprints On The Moon, while Amy invites Dave (Stephen Merchant) over for dinner despite their previously awkward date."
