Hrithik Roshan could have had a cracker of a year had he not walked out of "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, scriptwriter K V Vijayendra Prasad had narrated the script to Rakesh Roshan roughly three years ago. He had then agreed to direct it with his son in the lead but the association fell through as Prasad wished to co-produce the film with him.
Sources say the father-son duo had offered a whopping ₹3.25 crore to Prasad but somehow the deal couldn't be sealed.
Interestingly, Prasad's son S S Rajamouli had reportedly approached the "Mohenjo Daro" star for "Baahubali" but that too couldn't work out as the actor was very busy.
However, since none of the concerned parties have come clean on the matter, this can, at best, be considered a speculation.
In other news, both "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" have been minting crazy money at the box office, both domestic and overseas. While the former has grossed ₹303 crore at the worldwide box office in nine days, Salman's film will reportedly cross the ₹100 crore mark.
But, this shouldn't worry Roshan as most of his recent films have turned out to be blockbusters.
