The Golden State Warriors might not have started like in the last season but they are still playing some good basketball, winning matches quite comfortably. They have lost two matches in the season, but won seven, helping them enjoy the second best record in the western conference. Stephen Curry and co. will look to maintain their winning record as they are set to face Phoenix Suns at Oracle Arena on Sunday.

The Warriors, after their loss to San Antonio Spurs, have looked sharp if one ignores their loss to Los Angeles Lakers, which no one saw coming.Their second loss must have been a perfect wake up call for the Warriors, who are one of the favourites for the NBA title. They have already faced Suns earlier in the season, and it was not a walk in the park as they managed to win by six points only.

Of late, the Warriors have been in great scoring from all corners of the court. Kevin Durant has been splendid with his powerful game, and Curry and Thompson have been amazing from the three-point range.

Game after game, one is noticing the developing chemistry among Durant, Curry and Thompson, which is making them even more formidable. One should not forget the consistent contribution from Draymond Green, who is one of the key pillars of the team.

On paper, Warriors should cruise past the Suns, who have been below par. They have won three and lost seven. Their record in the last four matches has been even more unimpressive, securing a single win against Detroit Pistons. Their record offensively might have been good, but their defence seems to be a concern, as they have conceded more than 100 points more often than not this season.

With Warriors' offense being one of the strongest in the NBA, they have a huge task to control Curry and co. The Suns' defense should not give Warriors stars many a chance to score easy points. As for offence, Devin Booker needs to be on top of his game to threaten the home team. It has to be a collective team effort.
