Bomb blasts in Syria kill scores: Two bomb blasts in the Homs region in Syria killed over 30 people on Monday. 

Two car bombs hit the al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs city, SANA news agency, the Syrian state media, reported.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 32 people were killed and as many as 90 were injured in the twin blasts. 

This was the second deadly terror attack in the city since a ceasefire deal between the Syrian regime and rebel groups came into effect earlier this month.

Three weeks ago, 16 people were killed in multiple blasts in the same area in Homs. Isis had claimed the attacks. 

Paris Bataclan bomber buried in secret: One of the terrorists who had attacked the  Bataclan Theatre in Paris on 13 November was buried in an unmarked grave last week, it has been revealed. 

Samy Amimour, 28, a resident of the Seine Saint Denis, was among the three suicide bombers who killed 90 people at the Bataclan concert hall during a series of coordinated attacks in Paris last month. The attack is said to be the worst on French soil since the Second World War. 

He was buried in the north of Paris on 24 December, ABC News reported. 

Islamic State's department on 'war spoils': The Islamic State, which controls vast territories in Iraq and Syria, has set up departments to look into exploitation of oil and other natural resources, and one also for 'war spoils' such as slaves. 

The workings of the terror group came to light through documents seized by US Special Operations Forces earlier this year during a raid that killed Isis leader Abu Sayyaf at al-Omar in Syria, Reuters reported on Monday. 

Some of these Isis documents reportedly contain fatwas issued by the group, including the enslavement of 'infidel' women as sex slaves. 

The Islamic State also has a department to oversee the exploitation of antiquities in the region, the report said. 

Afghan air force kills 68 Isis fighters: Afghanistan forces targeted militants of the Islamic State in the country's eastern Nangarhar province, killing 68 fighters on Monday, local media reported. 

The airstrikes hit Isis targets in the Achin district in Nangarhar, where the terror group has inroads, often clashing with the Taliban and other militia, according to TOLO news.  

On Saturday, four Isis fighters were beheaded by a local militia group in the same district in revenge killings after Daesh abducted and killed members of the local outift.
