The Season 7 premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead finally revealed who Negan killed. But the show made viewers wait till the last 20 minutes or so to make the big reveal.

As speculated, Glenn and Abraham died in the premiere. Glenn's death was more or less confirmed as he is the one who gets killed by Negan in Robert Kirkman's comics of the same name, which is the source material for The Walking Dead television series.

While speaking about the death of his character Glenn Rhee, Steven Yeun told The Talking Dead that he was fully onboard with the decision.

"The death in the comic Robert (Kirkman) wrote was such a messed up, but at the same time incredible way to take something away, and make a story as impactful as it is," he said. "When you read that comic you kind of don't want that to go to anyone else. I think I even said 'don't give that to anybody else."

Meanwhile, Michael Cudlitz's Abraham's death has become an iconic scene, thanks to his last line – "s**k. my. N**s."

"These guys [the show's writers] had a tough time inserting any dialogue with Abraham because of where we left last season," said Cudlitz. "There was no interaction with the rest of the group, [so] to actually insert something in there was very very awesome."

So, what's next for Rick and gang now that two of their main members are dead?

The synopsis for the next episode titled The Well doesn't reveal much, but hints that the Kingdom will be introduced in Season 7 episode 2. The synopsis reads: "For a number of familiar faces, a new, well-established community seems too good to be true."

The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC.
