In a seemingly competing bid with Reliance Jio, Vodafone India is now said to be offering benefits such as unlimited free voice calling across networks, along with offering 3GB 4G data benefits for Rs 297 in certain telecom circles. This apparent move by Vodafone India follows that of the company's Flex Recharge concept that is applicable to only prepaid users and lets these subscribers enjoy voice calls, internet and text messages whilst reducing the number of recharges to be made.

Now, as far as its latest rumoured Rs 297 offer is concerned, Vodafone India is said to have rolled-out this scheme to prepaid subscribers in its Maharashtra/Mumbai telecom areas. Going by the available information, the Rs 297 recharge is applicable to selected prepaid customers who can check out a text message that throws more light on the scheme.

As per the text message, Vodafone subscribers in Mumbai would be able to make free voice calls irrespective of network service providers to Vodafone users in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa circles. Also, on recharging for Rs 297, 2GB of 4G/3G data would be available along with an additional 1GB 4G data applicable exclusively to the 4G SIM.

The above offer is also showcased to remain active for 28 days, along with expiring on November 9, 2016. Therefore, if you are a Vodafone India prepaid subscriber residing in the Mumbai/Maharashtra circle, do check for a text message representing details about the above Rs 297 offer. Do let us know if you have received such a message.

Not too long ago, Vodafone India announced an official end to incoming roaming charges when customers travel outside their home regions within India.

"At Vodafone, the customer is at the heart of all that we do and it is an ongoing endeavour to come up with unmatched value and convenience for our customers", stated Sandeep Kataria, Director – Commercial at Vodafone India.
