Vikram's "I" release is likely to be delayed further and the chances of the film releasing in November looks bleak. The movie is said to release by the last week of December and clash with Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal".

"I" post-production work is said to take a lot more time than expected. A few unconfirmed reports claim that the Kollywood movie, which was scheduled to hit the screens on 28 November, will be postponed by a month.

Shankar does not want to compromise on the quality of the film and he is not willing to wrap up the post-production works in a hurry in order to release the movie at the earliest, as per reports. Though the "I" team is working round the clock, the technical works are consuming too much of time.

Adding to that, there is also an alleged financial crunch and this is causing the delay of "I". Nonetheless, the makers of the film have been getting timely revenue through distribution and other rights of the mega-budget film.

The postponement of "I" would hint that Vikram's movie will clash with "Yennai Arindhaal". The Ajith Kumar starrer is planned for Christmas release and the two big Tamil movies of the year are now expected to set the box office on fire in December.
