Set to release on 25 July, "Vikramadithyan" is one of the most awaited Lal Jose film. The film, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, Unni Mukundan and Namitha Pramod in the lead, is expected to be a complete entertainer with punch dialogues, fight sequences, dance performances and soulful songs.
The film tells the story of three people Vikraman (Unni Mukundan), Adithyan (Dulquer Salmaan) and Deepthi Pai (Namitha Pramod). Both Vikraman and Adithyan are born at the same time and the film is about their friendship.
Vikraman is ambitious and seeks perfection. He is well-protected and cared by his family. Meanwhile, Adithyan's character is exactly opposite to Vikraman's. He lost his father at a very young age and he grew up with his friends. He is lazy and lacks aim in his life.
"Vikramadithyan" will also see a love triangle between Vikraman, Adithyan and Deepika. The film is a family entertainer with a cast of Anoop Menon, Charmila, Lena, Sidhartha Siva and Joy Mathew. Nivin Pauly will also make a guest appearance in the film.
The songs of Vikramadithyan are already popular. The music of the film is composed by Bijibal. Each song is written by different lyricists, making the film a music treat.
Another highlight of the film would the cinematography by Jomon T John. "Vikramadithyan" is expected to be a visual treat from Jomon. Glimpses of his frames are displayed in the songs and the trailers of the film.
"Vikramadithyan" is scripted by Iqbal Kuttipuram. Lal Jose–Iqbal Kuttipuram team have earlier joined together for hit films like "Arabikkatha" and "Diamond Necklace". "Vikramadithyan" is also the first production of LJ Films by Lal Jose and is the first film to release during Eid this year.
Malayalam film industry is expecting a good turnover in theatres with other Eid releases like "Hi I am Tony" releasing on 26 July, "Manglish" releasing on 27 July and "Avatharam" releasing on 28 July.
