Vikram and Amy Jackson to Shoot for 'Bigg Boss 8'; Episode to Air this Weekend?

Finally the rumours about Vikram and Amy Jackson being part of popular Hindi television reality show "Bigg Boss" hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan have come true. The makers of the upcoming magnum opus have confirmed that both Vikram and Amy will be on the sets of season 8 of "Bigg Boss" to promote their movie "I". The shooting for the episode is scheduled to take place on Sunday.

"It's official. #ChiyaanVikram and @iamAmyJackson will be on the sets of @BeingSalmanKhan's #BigBoss8. It will be filmed tomorrow!," tweeted the official Twitter page of Aascar Films, who are the producers of "I".

However, there is no confirmation regarding the telecast of the episode. Speculations are that the episode will be telecasted on Monday. It in the usual episode pattern, Salman anchors Saturday and Sunday episodes which are eviction special. But the actor has opted to take a break this Saturday as he is celebrating his birthday.

Therefore, the elimination episode for this weekend is postponed to Sunday and Monday.  So there's a possibility that Vikram and Amy will appear in the either of the episodes telecast on Sunday and Monday.

The producers of "I' are making sure that no stone is unturned when it comes to promotion of the movie. The movie, which is made with a huge budget of ₹100 crore, is directed by Shankar and some of the best talents in the film fraternity is involved in the making of the movie.

"I" is expected to hit the theatres in January, 2015, simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Apparently, the producer of the movie Aascar Ravichandran had met Salman recently and sealed the deal for promoting the movie through the popular show.

For "Bigg Boss" contestant Upen Patel, this upcoming episode would be more delighting as he has done a major role in the movie. Rumours are that the actor plays a negative character for the movie.

Meanwhile, "I" makers are also busy with the Telugu and Hindi audio launch for the movie. The Telugu audio launch is scheduled to take place on 29 December. The Tamil music launch was a grand affair in the Tamil film industry and the music was launched by Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The teaser and the trailer of "I" which were released earlier had received great reviews. The makers are certain that the movie will be visual treat that will entice its audience. The movie is hogging the limelight also because of Vikram's different look.

The music of the movie is done by AR Rahman, cinematography by PC Sreeram and the editing is done by Llewllyn Anthony Gonsalves.
