Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer "Puli" is busy filming songs in a foreign location. The movie has completed its talkie portions and will soon begin post-production works. In the mean time, the makers have reportedly decided on the dates for its first look, audio and release.

First Look

The first look of "Puli" will be out on 22 June to coincide with Vijay's birthday. The poster will be released directly on the Internet, around 21 June midnight. As the movie has big names like Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, female leads Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani, and yesteryear sensation Sridevi Kapoor in the cast, it is expected that multiple posters will be released over a period of weeks.

Audio/ Trailer/Teaser Release

Once the first look is out, the trailer and audio of "Puli" will be released, in August. As per the buzz, the makers have finalised 15 August. They might release a teaser video in July.

Movie Release

The makers have decided to release "Puli" during Ganesha festival, keeping in mind the four-day holiday weekend. This has been confirmed by Boss Siva aka Sivakumar, who distributes most of Vijay's films at selected regions. He tweeted, "Puli team is planning to release movie on Sep 17th Vinayakar Chathurthi."

Currently, Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are busy filming songs in Cambodia under the direction of Raju Sundaram. They will wrap up the shoot shortly, paving the way for post-production works, majorly involving CGI and VFX works.

"Puli" is a fantasy-adventure directed by Chimbudevan and produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selva Kumar.
