Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are hardly seen bonding with each other, and the reason is obvious. However, a rare moment of the two actresses hugging each other has surfaced on the internet.
Deepika and Katrina have never been in good terms, and the reason is Ranbir Kapoor. After breaking up with Deepika, Ranbir had gone into a relationship with Katrina, and since then, the two divas preferred not to cross each other's paths.
However, things have now completely changed, and this video is a clear proof of the same. The video from recently held Star Screen Awards shows Deepika's husband Ranveer Singh first greeting Katrina with a hug, and then he made the two ladies hug each other, which they did with wide smiles on their faces.
The video is now going viral on social media, as fans are both surprised and happy to see Deepika and Katrina finally leaving the past behind.
Katrina had also attended Deepika and Ranveer's wedding reception, which again proved that there is no bitterness between the ladies anymore. Even Deepika had then confirmed that she and the Tiger Zinda Hai actress are now friends.
"A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her," Deepika had told Filmfare after her wedding.
