Venom movie set photos reveal Tom Hardy filming for fiery stunt scenes

Director Ruben Fleischer is bringing back Spider-Man rival Agent Venom aka Eddie Brock to the big screen and the filming is already underway.

Besides Tom Hardy as Venom, the Spider Man spin-off movie will feature several other actors including Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, and Reid Scott.

Variety recently reported that Hollywood veteran Woody Harrelson is likely to join the cast of Venom movie but there are no specific details about which character he will play in the movie. He will reportedly play a henchman.

Rumours have it the actor might be considered for the character of Carnage instead of Riz Ahmed.

Besides cast and plot details, a handful of set photos have surfaced on the internet. Some of the recent ones, taken and posted by Atlanta Filming, show Hardy wearing military gear and caught in action sequences.

In the photos, Hardy is seen on a bike (not wearing the Venom costume) performing some stunt scenes as the bike is lifted into the air by a harness.

Recently director Fleischer and actor Tom Hardy confirmed the sources of the movie during Sao Paulo's Comic-Con Experience 2017. The Sony-Marvel movie will be based on two '90s comics — a six-issue miniseries from 1993 'Lethal Protector' and a five-issue event from 1995 'Planet of the Symbiotes.'

The movie is slated to be released on October 5, 2018.
