Venkat Prabhu, whose Suriya-Nayantara-Pranitha starrer "Masss" released on Friday, has often been asked about teaming up with Ajith again. And, the director has recently said that he is willing to join hands with Thala.

In an interview with a website, Venkat Prabhu claimed that he has a few scripts ready for Ajith Kumar. He also has many one-line stories that suit the actor. The ball is now in the "Arrambam" actor's court and if he agrees Prabhu will direct "Thala 57".

"I have few scripts and many one lines ready for thala. If Thala says Yes, we may team up for Thala57, but things have to get finalized, You will know when it happens," he told the website. They would probably join hands for "Mankatha 2".

Venkat Prabhu and Ajith had collaborated for the first time for "Mankatha". The crime-thriller was a runaway hit at the box office and remained the biggest hit of 2010. It was a multi-starrer movie, which had Arjun Sarja, Mahat Raghavendra, Vaibhav Reddy, Premji Amaren, Trisha Krishnan and Lakshmi Rai in the cast.

Ever since the movie became a hit, people had been asking Venkat Prabhu about his plans for "Mankatha" sequel. Now, it appears as the director is willing to work with Ajith again and the actor has to take the final call.

Currently, Ajith is busy with Siruthai Siva's movie. Apart from this, he has not given a nod to any project. Many filmmakers had approached him in the last couple of months, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu's latest movie "Masss" has been released. The early reports say that the movie has got positive reviews.
