When dignitaries see into Modi's eyes, they see reflection of the Indian populace: PM Modi part - 1

During his speech at a poll rally in East Delhi on Saturday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that under the governance of Kiran Bedi, Delhi would reach new heights.

According to NDTV, Modi praised Bedi, pointing out that she has been a vital part of Delhi's history, making her well-known all across the capital.

However, Bedi, who is the chief ministerial candidate of the saffron party, has been missing from party's posters, as per the new campaign strategy under the control of BJP chief Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister's entry into Delhi election campaign is seen as a move to take on BJP's biggest competitor AAP.

Modi said that Delhi would benefit if the same party rules both at the state and the Centre and that if the BJP was elected to power, it would provide a stable governance in Delhi.

He also attacked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal: "The very people whom you voted for last time stabbed you in your back. They shattered your dreams and destroyed Delhi. You gave them a befitting punishment in Lok Sabha polls. People do not repeat their mistakes again and again," the PM was quoted as saying.
