With the next Uncharted in line all set to conclude what has been a thrilling ride with Nathan Drake, it seems like more new details are flooding in for the game. And as things start, Naughty Dog is leaving no stone unturned as far as Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is concerned.

As far as the latest reports are concerned, Uncharted 4's game director Bruce Straley is of the opinion that the game won't run at 60 FPS if it somehow diminishes the player's experience. In the latest issue of Edge, Straley revealed that the Uncharted 4 demo from last year was running at only 30 FPS. Nonetheless, the game is set to achieve a higher number than that on an overall.

"We're actually above 30, but we locked it [for the demo]," Straley said. "We're going to do whatever it takes to make the game we want to make. If it means we could go for 60 but lose something that would really impact the player's experience, then it's our choice as developers to say, 'Well, we're going to go for the experience over the 60 frames'."

The EDGE report also states that there was a debug station visible on the floor revealing that the game was running at 37fps. While all the three previous Uncharted titles ran at 30fps, hopes were high that the upcoming PS4 release would run at a higher 60fps.

And this "after community strategist Arne Meyer revealed that Naughty Dog would be targeting 1,080p/60fps 'with anything we're doing on this generation'," a Videogamer report states.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is currently set to launch exclusively on PS4 later this year.
