Shopian, Feb 25 (ANI): Two unidentified militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in south Kashmir's Shopian district on Wednesday. The gun battle is still on between the security forces and militants in Shopian district. The security forces are in search of a third militant. The encounter began on Tuesday when security forces received specific intelligence input about the presence of militants in Hef Shermal area of Shopian, 52 kms from Srinagar. Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants, a joint team of army and police began a search operation in the area. During the search operation, the militants started firing to which security personnel retaliated.
