It's year end and Twitter has come up with the list of its top 10 trending shows of this year. This year, several television shows hooked viewers with their finale, but only shows made it to the top 10 list of trending TV shows on the social media platform.
HBO's popular fantasy drama Game of Thrones (GoT) topping the list should not come as a surprise. The second on the list is American drama series The Walking Dead, followed by Grey's Anatomy. The biggest surprise on the list is K-pop's Descendants of the Sun. Descendants of the Sun, starring Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-Kyo, is the only K-pop drama to have made it in the list.
The top 10 list also includes two shows from Brazil, including cooking show MasterChef and Big Brother.
The Twitter trend list also includes top trending awards shows, trending movies and trending artists as well.
