TVS Motor Company, the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, is reportedly gearing up for the launch of 125cc scooters in the country. The new 125cc scooters could be rolled out in calendar year 2017.

A report of Autocar professional, citing sources close to the development, says that TVS, the Hosur-based company, could also be looking at the introduction of a new sub-brand for its upcoming scooter as the company is taking the competition a notch higher. While other details about the upcoming scooter of the TVS are scanty at this point in time, report suggests that the new 125cc model could debut under Jupiter brand.
