Looks like there is no stopping for "Kumkum Bhagya" and the show continues to rule the Television Rating Points (TRPs) in week 35 (Aug.27 to Sept.2) of 2016. According to a data released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council India, the television audience measurement agency, the Zee TV show has garnered 12.6 million viewership across both urban and rural areas. The show's TRP is slightly higher than its previous week's rating (12.2 million).

Second in the list of top scorers is "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya," which got 10.68 million viewership, pushing "Brahmarakshas- Jaag Utha Shaitaan" to the third spot with 10.64 million viewership.

"Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki," which was in the fifth position last week, has jumped to the fourth position with 9 million views. Going by the ratings of both Krystle D'souza and Rubina Dilaik's shows, it seems viewers are gradually opening up to different and unusual concepts.

"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has managed to secure the fifth position with 9 million viewership. Despite the new twists and turns in the storyline, it appears like the lack of screen space between the lead pair Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and their never-ending troubles are affecting the ratings of the show.

As for the channels, Star Plus was once again the top among both urban and rural areas. It was followed by Zee TV and Colors TV. Colors TV, which was the number one channel for the past several week, has been struggling to retain its spot. The low ratings of Colors' shows including "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" and "24" seem to be the reason behind the fall. Other top channels are Zee Anmol, Star Utsav, Life OK, Sony Pal, Sony SAB, Sony Entertainment Television and Rishtey.
