The Tamil film industry is abuzz with the rumour that actress Trisha has opted out of Selvaraghavan's movie, which stars Simbu in the lead.

The shooting of the flick was supposed to begin by 11 May and the latest update about the movie has surprised many as the actress was very excited while announcing the project.

Trisha had earlier tweeted that she is "sublimely happy" to join Selvaraghavan in his upcoming movie.

Industry sources claim that Trisha has opted out of Selvaraghavan's movie as she had committed her dates to Kamal Haasan's upcoming thriller "Ore Iravu" and Sundar C's "Aranmanai 2".

However, sources close to the actress or Selvaraghavan's project have chosen to remain silent on the latest rumours and therefore, audience will have to wait for the official confirmation regarding this.

Meanwhile Simbu, Trisha Krishnan and Taapsee Pannu had done photoshoot for the movie recently. It was reported that Trisha would be seen in a stylish avatar, Taapsee will play a bold and glamorous role, whereas Simbu will be seen in a gangster's role.

The upcoming project is a romantic thriller and its music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Trisha had earlier worked with Selvaraghavan in Telugu movie "Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule" in 2007. It was a remake of Tamil movie "Yaaradi Nee Mohini". The movie was a huge box office success and enjoyed 50 days' run in 200 centres and 100 days' run in 21 centres.

For Simbu, this will be his first stint with a Selvaraghavan project. Simbu and Trisha had earlier worked together in Vikram Kumar's "Alai" and Gautham Menon's "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa".
