Trisha to Get Engaged to Varun Manian; The Actress' Private Engagement Ceremony on 23 January

Actress Trisha Krishnan has finally opened up on her relationship with Varun Manian and has announced that she is getting engaged to him on 23 January.

The actress made the announcement on Twitter. "To my fans n friends from d media,I will be getting engaged to Varun on the 23 of Jan in a very private ceremony between our families," she wrote.

The news has come as a pleasant surprise to her fans and the media. Her followers are now flooding her with congratulatory messages on Twitter and asking her questions related to her marriage.

However, Trisha has said that the wedding date is not fixed yet and the actress will continue to act in movies.

"Pls dont speculate about my wedding date as we have not fixed it as yet. And as always you will hear it from me first when we do. I have no intentions of quitting films.Infact will be signing two new films soon and looking forward to four of my releases in 2015," she wrote. 

In November 2014, there were reports that Trisha and Varun Manian had secretly gotten engaged. It was speculated that they have been dating for a while. However, the actress had clarified that they had not exchanged rings.

In fact, Trisha had said that she does not like to get engaged in a hush-hush manner as she has the responsibility of informing her producers with whom she is working. "Engagement is a happy occasion and no girl will hide it if she is engaged. So, why will I?" she had told the Times of India.

True to her words, Trisha has announced about her engagement and is not keeping the news a secret. 

The actress is presently working in Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" directed by Gautham Menon. Trisha Krishnan's other movies are: "Bhooloham and "Appa Takkaru" both starring Jayam Ravi and Telugu movie "Lion" featuring superstar Balakrishna.
