The MTV Movie and TV Awards are due this Sunday. While the world will watch their favourite celebrity receiving different awards, the night will also witness some new updates from upcoming movies of 2017.

The awards night will not only recognise talents and contributions from the year gone, it will also set a platform for upcoming movies to showcase new teasers, trailers and promote the upcoming summer release. Movies like DC/WB's Wonder Woman, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Stephen King's It and many more will launch new insights into their movies.

So here's what to expect from MTV Awards night with regard to new movie releases. Here are movies that will definitely make fans happy on Sunday.

Let's start with Transformers: The Last Knight. The fifth edition of Transformers announced on Friday that they will debut a new promo from the sci-fi movie. Showing Bumblebee and Optimus Prime up fighting against each other, the makers released a new poster announcing to keep an eye out for the new Transformers 5 trailer.

Another action hero will swing by your living room is the young Spider-Man. The Marvel superhero will drop spoilers in its new trailer featuring on the awards night. Confirming the news, the official twitter handle of MTV informed fans that Spider-Man: Homecoming's new sneak will appear in the awards night.

Get ready to creep out as Stephen King's iconic book adaptation "It" will also sneak into your house with a new teaser/trailer. Announcing the news on their Instagram account, the film makers confirmed that a new exclusive sneak will make way in to the MTC Awards this Sunday.

Watch out for Wonder Woman who has promised a "surprise" dropping by on the MTV Awards stage. Her surprise hints that we could see another TV spot making its way to the small screen. The last night Gal Gadot announced a surprise was at the Nickelodeon Kids Awards where she stunned fans with a new trailer of Wonder Woman. Could the new trailer give a better view at the Wonder Woman villain? We'll have to wait until Sunday night to know more.
