Trai Byers, the American actor known for his role as Andre Lyon in Fox music drama 'Empire', celebrates his 32nd birthday on Sunday, July 19.
Born in Kansas, the celebrity began his journey to the world of entertainment through American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. He also attended the Yale School of Drama.
The actor became a part of the TV world through a daytime soap opera titled 'All My Children'. He was also part of The CW series '90210'.
He joined the cast list of 'Empire' as a series regular in 2015. When the Fox series returns with season 2 on Wednesday, September 23 , fans will get to watch the new look of their favourite character Andre Lyon.
"Andre is trying to become something different with his spirituality and with his baby on the way, so I would say that that would affect him in the way that he deals with the people in his family, even Jamal. Ultimately, there's a lot of rivalry but there's a lot of love in this family," said the actor.
Byers first big screen project was Dave Campfield horror film 'Caesar and Otto's Summer Camp Massacre'. He raised to fame through the portrayal of civil rights activist James Forman in Ava DuVernay epic historical movie 'Selma'.
