New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Power distribution company in Delhi, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) has claimed to have met 100 percent electricity demands in its jurisdiction despite reports of prolonged power cuts in the city during scorching summer heat. TPDDL, which supplies power to nearly 30 percent of residents in north and northeast Delhi, said there was no load shedding. Earlier on Tuesday, Junior Power Minister Piyush Goyal blamed previous Congress party-led government in the city and said that dilapidated power grids could not cope with extra electricity needed to meet demand, leading to more power cuts. Congress party leader, Arvinder Singh Lovely, alleged Goyal was running away from his responsibility and was indulging in blame game.
