Sega has announced that PC and Mac platforms will be getting a new game, Total War: Attila, in 2015.

The setting for Total War: Attila will be in 395 A.C.E the backdrop of "famine, disease and war" where Attila has set his eyes on Rome riding with a million horsemen. Attila is known as the 'Scourge of God.'

"A time of apocalyptic turmoil at the very dawn of the Dark Ages," says Sega introducing the outlook of the game on its official website.

"How far will you go to survive? Will you sweep oppression from the world and carve out a barbarian or Eastern kingdom of your own? Or will you brace against the coming storm as the last remnants of the Roman Empire, in the ultimate survival-strategy challenge?"

The game will have the following features:

Apocalyptic destruction mechanics - Usage of fire to set ablaze building or a region to terrify the defenders.

Legendary start position - Players will play as the Western Roman Empire starting with huge territories by quickly losing many and must fight for survival.

Overhauled game mechanics - The core gameplay and UI are improved and optimised, including politics, family tree, civic management and technological progression.

Incredible period detail - The game will have a lot of period-specific technologies like arms and armaments, religion, cultures and social upheaval. 

Outstanding visual fidelity - The campaign and battle visuals are optimised and improved to provide the best experience.

Angry Birds Transformers Gets Gameplay Trailer

Rovio has released the gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Transformers. This is the first gameplay trailer released by the company.

Angry Birds Transformers will be different from its previous games as there will not be any catapult style of gameplay. Transformers will see a new touch-based run 'n' gun game that allows the players to destroy scenery in the background, reported CVG.

Players can choose from controlling either the Autobirds or the Deceptihogs or both sides can team up to take on the EggBots. The Autobirds are basically good and Deceptihogs are evil. Players will also be able to take a teammate in a game to help them destroy more.

Players will also be able to scan characters into the game using the Telepods figures from Hasbro, a new collectible. Angry Birds Transformers is slated for release on 15 October on iOS and 30 October on Android.
