Jaimie Alexander has recently hinted that she may reprise her role in "Thor: Ragnarok." The actress, who is known for playing Lady Sif in the "Thor" franchise, tweeted about her possible return to Asgard.

Sif is an Asgardian warrior and a friend of Thor. She is one of the most appreciated warriors of Asgrad and is considered the Goddess of War. In "Thor: The Dark World" she developed feelings for Thor, but was unable to convey them to him. She got jealous of Thor's girlfriend Jane Foster when she arrived in Asgrad. However, that did not stop Thor from escaping with Foster to the Dark World.

If the character of Sif returns in "Thor: Ragnarok", it will be interesting to see how it affects Thor's relationship with Jane Foster. Alexander played Sif in the episode 1 of "Agents of SHIELD's," season 2. When "Thor: The Dark World" was released she also expressed her desire to star in the standalone movie based on Lady Sif. She had said that she would welcome the opportunity of doing a spin-off with "open arms."

"I would love for there to be a spinoff film. I would absolutely say 'yes!' If the fans want it and there's a strong enough desire for it, it will happen. So, fingers crossed," reported Coming Soon.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is set to release in 2017. The film will start off from where "Thor: The Dark World" left off. Thor will make his return to Asgrad after he realises that it is ot the verge of destruction. Loki is currently ruling Asgard and has soul gems and infinity gauntlet in his safeguard.

Meanwhile, it may also happen that Thanos comes to Asgrad to steal the soul gems. Josh Brolin who plays Thanos, hinted about the return of his character in Marvel's 2017 movies.

"The fact that it's so, it's like, Yeah in 2016 and '17, what am I going to be doing? Oh, I'm going to be doing that. I'm very lucky in that way, man. I just get presented these things and I go wow, really? Why now and why this? The possibilities for Thanos are unlimited," Brolin said to Nuke The Fridge.
