Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan have been in news ever since the actress revealed that she has a crush on him. While fans have been wondering if this would lead to something romantic, Sara's mother has advised her not to rush on this.

During a recent interview with Box Office India, Sara was asked if she would want to message Kartik on Instagram, the Simmba actress said that her mother, Amrita Singh has advised her to take it slow. "No, no, no...how much! I have said it everywhere. Itna bhi desparate nahi (I'm not that desperate). Mom said you must wait. So, I am waiting!," she told the publication.

Sara during her appearance on Koffee With Karan said that she has a crush on Kartik, and she would like to date him. Later, Kartik had also said that he would love to ask her out for coffee.

Things went a little forward when Ranveer Singh introduced the two at an event, and made them hold each other's hands. It was recorded on camera, and both the young actors were seen blushing.

On the work front, Sara after making an impressive debut in Kedarnath, is now basking on the success of her second film Simmba. Starring Ranveer Singh, Simmba has been dominating the box office from opening day, and is heading towards Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office.

On the other side, Kartik after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, will next be seen alongside Kriti Sanon in Luka Chuppi.
