Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Om Shanti Om has completed 9 years. And now a Japanese remake of the movie will come up soon that will be a musical.

On the occasion of its completion of 9 years, director Farah Khan took to Twitter and made the announcement. She also shared a poster of the Japanese version of Om Shanti Om.

Farah first thanked fans for remembering the film even after 9 years and then expressed gratitude to all associated with the movie.

"Thank u all 4 wishing us #9YearsOfOmShantiOm 2day!! Its beautiful to know this film is celebrated every day kahin na kahin.. @iamsrk thnk u [sic]," she first tweeted.

She then made the announcement of the Japanese remake of the film and went on to thank others who had worked on the movie.

Om Shanti Om was the debut movie of Deepika opposite Shah Rukh. After the success of the film, there was no looking back for the actress. It also featured Arjun Rampal among others. After that Shah Rukh and Deepika had shared screen space in Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
