The many surgeries he has undergone, and the injuries he suffered do not seem to have made Ajith weak or cautious as his enthusiasm towards doing action sequences on his own continues. The actor is said to have performed a dangerous stunt for his upcoming movie, which is currently being called Thala 57.

Now, a video of Ajith's daredevil wheeling stunt in Bulgaria has gone viral. The actor, who is crazy about bikes, has apparently done the stunt sequence on his own. According to reports, Ajith wanted to do the complete sequence without using a body double, but director Siruthai Siva was not keen to take any risk.

Hence, the Mankatha star seems to have done only a part of the sequence on his own. The makers hired Hollywood stuntman Jorian Ponomareff to choreograph the rest of the sequence. It may be recalled that Ponomareff had recently shared his experience of working with Ajith on Facebook.

The clip has become a hot topic on social media. People are appreciating Ajith's ability to take risk without any fear. A few celebrities, including Anirudh Ravichander, have posted positive comments about the scene.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Thala 57 is progressing at a brisk pace. The latest schedule was started last month and it is expected to be wrapped up in January.

The upcoming movie is a spy thriller in which Ajith plays the role of an investigating officer. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi plays the antagonist in the Tamil movie, which is likely to be dubbed in Telugu as well. Akshara Haasan will be seen in the second female lead role in the film, which also features Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Rajendran and others in the cast.

The Siruthai Siva-directed film, which will hit the screens worldwide in May 2017, is bankrolled by Sathyajyothi Films.
