Junior NTR's latest release "Temper" made a superb collection at the worldwide box office on its first weekend. The film has smashed all records of the young tiger's previous releases.

"Temper", which released in over 1,400 screens across the globe on 13 February, opened to an overwhelming response. The first show of the film started at 4.00 pm on Friday in many places across India and was able to register 100 per cent occupancy in both multiplexes and single screens almost everywhere. It garnered positive response from both viewers and film critics.

The positive word-of-mouth helped take its business upwards in the later shows. "Temper" movie collected ₹9.68 crore at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office on its opening day. The movie smashed the first day record of "Baadshah" and became the biggest opener for Junior NTR. It also beat the record of "Gopala Gopala" to become the biggest hit of 2015 as well as third biggest opener of all time.

The Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal starrer raked in approximately ₹5+ crore from its theatrical run in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, North India and International markets on the first day. The first day global total of "Temper" stands at ₹14.68 crore.

Despite getting positive response, "Temper" witnessed over 50 per cent drop in its business everywhere on Saturday. The movie collected approximately ₹4 crore at the AP/T and ₹2.5 crore in non-Telugu speaking regions on the second day. Its Saturday global business stood at ₹6.50 crore.

Trade experts had predicted that "Temper" would suffer severe setback at the ticket counters on Sunday due to the World Cup Match between India and Pakistan. The match did take a toll on its business, but not up to the expected mark. The film did decent business and raked in ₹4.5 crore at the AP/T and ₹3.5 crore in other areas on the third day.

"Temper" has collected ₹18.18 crore at the AP/T box office in three days. The film has shattered the record of "Gopala Gopala", which had collected ₹13.50 crore in its opening weekend. It has collected approximately ₹11 crore in other parts of the world. Its first weekend global total stands at ₹28.18 crore. These are approximate figures and the makers are yet to reveal the official figures.
