Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend British actor Joe Alwyn have been reportedly spotted together for the first time after tabloids romantically linked the two of them last month.

The couple were caught on camera boarding a private jet along with the security on Thursday, June 1.They apparently tried to avoid public attention by dressing up casually. "They didn't want to be seen by anyone and were ducking down in the car and wearing hoodies," an E!News source said.

Another industry insider claimed that the Wildest Dreams singer is protective about her relationship with the British actor. "She is very protective and is trying to peddle slowly with this. She worked very closely with her security team and management to make sure her life going forward was private. All of that madness really affected her," the source said.

People close to the 27-year-old American singer also described the couple as romantic friends. "She met Joe last year but they haven't started dating till just recently. They are 'romantic' friends. It was her goal to keep it a secret even though it's all really light still. She barely told any of her friends," the source continued.

The insider even claimed that Swift was spending quiet time with her family and friends after her break up with English actor Tom Hiddleston. "Taylor has been doing her own thing and has not been in any exclusive relationship for some time since her last boyfriend," the source added.

Meanwhile, another industry insider stated that the Shake It Off hit maker is insanely private about her relationship with Alwyn. "Taylor and Joe have really tried to be on lockdown and have spent most of their time together in private locations where they could get to know each other without the pressure of a public relationship and people making judgement calls," the source told Mirror.
