Taxiwala (Taxiwaala) has made a good collection at the box office and become a profitable venture in just two days. Stylish star Allu Arjun hosted a lavish party for the team to celebrate its success on Sunday.

The Vijay Deverakonda, Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair starrer was released in 750 screens amidst huge hype and promotions. Despite clashing with Amar Akbar Anthony, Taxiwala registered a good opening on Saturday. A word of mouth boosted its collection on Sunday. The movie has collected Rs 15+ crore at the worldwide box office in two days and earned Rs 8 crore for its distributors.

Taxiwala is a small budget movie that has been bankrolled by GA2 Pictures and UV Creations, which also distributed the movie in the Telugu states. It is reported that the makers had sold out its theatrical rights for other areas even before the release of Arjun Reddy and the film had fetched a small from it. Hence, the flick has been recovering 100 per cent investments with some profits to its distributors in two days.

GA2 Pictures is a branch of Geetha Arts, which is owned by Allu Arjun's father Aravind. The stylish star had earlier encouraged the team of Taxiwala, by attending its pre-release event. The actor at it again on Sunday night. He hosted a lavish party to the team to celebrate its success. The core team members were present at the party last night and he was is said to have personally congratulated each and every one.

Taxiwala is a horror, sci-fi, comedy thriller film which has been written and directed by Rahul Sankrityan and SKN, Bunny Vas, V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati. Vijay Deverakonda, Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair have played the lead roles, while Ravi Prakash and Uttej appeared in supporting roles.

Taxiwala received a mixed talk from the audience and critics, but the maximum of them loved Rahul Sankrityan's script. Its collection looks lower than that of Vijay Devarakonda's recent releases. But since its theatrical rights were sold for a very lower price and the movie has emerged as the profitable in a short time.
