Dhivyadarshini, a popular Tamil TV host, has reportedly filed for divorce. The TV anchor-turned-actress married her long-time boyfriend Srikanth Ravichandran in 2014.
The couple, after six years of courtship, decided to tie the knot with the blessings of their respective families. However, the couple's relationship was strained post marriage.
Sify website stated there were lots of issues between them and her decision to act in the movies was the last straw that broke the camel's back.
Dhivyadarshini and Srikanth Ravichandran have been reportedly living separately for some months now. As they could not sort out the differences, the couple decided to end their relationship and filed for the divorce.
Their entered wedlock in July 2014 in a grand ceremony attended by who's who of Kollywood.
She is the latest Tamil TV anchor to end her marriage after Pooja Ramachandran and Ramya Subramaniam. Also, celebrities like Amala Paul and Soundarya Rajinikanth have also taken divorce in the recent past.
Dhivyadarshini had hosted several shows on Vijay TV include Jodi Number One, Boys Vs Girls, Home Sweet Home and Super Singer T20. She is currently hosting the popular chat show Koffee with DD where several film celebrities are invited each week for a candid chat with the anchor.
She also appeared in supporting roles in a few films like Whistle and Madhavan's comedy entertainer Nala Damayanthi and more recently in Pa Pandi.
