Auto enthusiasts in the country have already seen dozens of spy shots of Maruti Suzuki's upcoming premium hatchback YRA. They will further witness the hatchback previewed by Suzuki iK-2 Concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, scheduled to kickstart later in March. But, it seems like we have already managed an early glimpse of the hatchback concept.

The Instagram page of @SuzukiCars revealed what appears to be the first official image of Suzuki's ik-2 Concept, "an ideal compact car", ahead of its premier at Geneva Motor show. The image gives a clear view of the style and design of the model. The concept, which the company describes as "an ideal compact car" with "Harmonised Force", is currently being tested in India. The image suggests YRA hatchback will get large air dam and chic design.

Expected to reach the Indian shores during the festive season, Maruti YRA hatchback will be pitched against Honda's upcoming Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20. The car is expected to pack features like chrome door handles, five-spoke alloy wheels, rear wiper and de-fogger. Other speculated features include steering-mounted controls, new music system with touchscreen, Engine start stop button, electrically adjustable OVRMs and reverse parking sensors.

The engine line-up of the YRA is rumoured to include 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine and a diesel mill. The car will sit above the company's popular Swift hatchback and will be 90 kgs lighter than Swift.
