Suspicious Partner is an upcoming Korean drama that will feature The K2 star Ji Chang-wook and Shopping King Louis actress Nam Ji-hyun in lead roles. It is scheduled to telecast on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday from May 10.

The mini-series will consist of 16 episodes and will revolve around the life of a former prosecutor from the Central District Prosecutors' Office named Noh Ji-wook, who decides to become a private attorney due to personal reasons.

The female protagonist in the legal drama is named Eun Bong-hee, who is a prosecutor trainee. She was a Taekwondo athlete during her school days and her life takes an unexpected turn after she becomes a murder suspect.

The Missing 9 star Choi Tae-joon could once again appear on screen as the male antagonist through Suspicious Partner. His character is described as a lawyer with harsh adolescence and complicated family relationships.

Hello Venus member Kwon Na-ra will probably portray the female antagonist in the mini-series. She will be playing the role of Noh Ji-wook's ex-girlfriend, who will try her best to win back her former lover.

Other celebrities to appear in the period drama include Dong Ha, Kim Ye-won, Lee Deok-hwa, Nam Gi-ae, Yoon Bok-in, Kim Hong-fa and Heo Joon-seok along with Hwang Chan-sung in guest role as the ex-boyfriend of Eun Bong-hee.

SBS has released several posters and trailers of Suspicious Partner and each one of them has a highlighted tagline, which reads (via Dramabeans): "May 9 is for the presidential election, May 10 is for Suspicious Partner."

In the latest trailer for the legal drama, Nam Ji-hyun's character is described as an amazingly suspicious and insanely lovable person. The caption for Ji Chang-wook's character reads: "This is my first romantic comedy as an actor, I will make it the best romantic comedy of my life."
