Hate Story 2 actor Sushant Singh, who is also known for hosting Savdhaan India, a show based on real-life crime stories, is currently going through a turbulent phase in his life. His sister Sofiya has been diagnosed with a neurological disorder called CIDP (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy), a condition that targets your body's nerves.

The actor pleased for help from his fans on Twitter to find a new breakthrough after the prescribed treatment of steroids and immunosuppressant drugs failed to cure the disease.

"This is an appeal friends. My younger sister Sofiya has been diagnosed with CIDP. An auto-immune disorder, the only treatment of Steroids and Immuno-suppressants isn't working. Trying to find any new breakthrough, please RT and help us reach out to the right people," a worried Sushant tweeted.

Soon after Sushant's tweet, his fans started replying to him providing him suggestions and different treatments that might help to cure his sister's auto-immune disorder.

"Has PET CT been done to rule out any malignant cause. Apart from steroid, IVIG and plasmapheresis still an option. Don't lose hope," a fan enquired about the details of the treatment Sushant's siter had undergone. And Sushant replied saying that they have done all of it.

An applied scientist Mahesh Bailakanavar shared a link of the blog of a friend who was diagnosed with CIDP a few years ago and has been cured of it to an extent. He also messaged him informing about Sushant's sister's condition and told the actor that he will share his phone number as soon as possible.

Many such Twitter users jumped in to help Sushant and his sister Sofiya overcome her battle with the neurological disorder.
