'Supreme' worldwide total box office collection: Sai Dharam Tej's film grosses Rs 44 crore in 50 days

Sai Dharam Tej's "Supreme," which completed 50 days in over 25 theatres, has collected a total of Rs 44.05 crore gross at the worldwide box office in seven weeks.

"Supreme" was released in over 600 cinema halls around the world on May 5, a day before Suriya's "24" hit the screens. The movie opened to good response and was rock-steady at the ticket counters across the globe on the following days. The film collected Rs 22 crore at the worldwide box office in its eight-day first week and it earned over 14 crore for its global distributors.

The Sai Dharam Tej starrer clashed with "Brahmotsavam," "A...Aa," "Okka Ammayi Thappa," "Right Right," "Gentleman," "Pencil," "Rayudu" and some other small budget movies in the following weeks. But the film managed to do well at the ticket counters everywhere. The movie joined the list of the hit Telugu movies of 2016.

The Anil Ravipudi-directed commercial film has collected Rs 38.20 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 4.35 crore in Karnataka, Rs 1.50 crore in other parts of the globe. "Supreme" has grossed a total of Rs 44.05 crore at the worldwide box office in 50 days and has earned Rs 25 crore to its global distributors, according to Andhra Box Office.

"Supreme" is an action comedy film with a good dose of romance and other masala elements. The movie has been produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna have played the lead roles in the film, which has Sai Karthik's music and Sai Sriram camera work.
