Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi is sure to feature several action-packed scenes between Rebel Resistance fighters and First Order stormtroopers. If leaked details are to be taken into consideration, the franchise fans will get to see glimpses of those scenes in the first full-length trailer for the movie.
The footage is expected to release during the D23 expo, which will be held at Anaheim Convention Center in California from July 14 to July 16. The clip is apparently being tested at various IMAX theatres.
Numerous details about the promo have already surfaced online. According to new information, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma will enjoy a greater presence in the footage.

Check out the leaked details about the trailer of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi below, according to theorist Mike Zeroh:
- Voice over work done by Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver are included in this trailer.
- The John Williams score that plays throughout the trailer will be a major track in The Last Jedi film and soundtrack.
- Glimpses of Captain Phasma's elite troopers and Supreme Leader Snoke's Praetorian Guards are in the promo. However, Snoke is absent.
- An extended shot of the burning temple that shows Luke Skywalker falling to his knees completely will be featured in the footage.
- An alternate shot of Phasma walking through the fire will also be inserted in the trailer
Meanwhile, a leaked scene description from Star Wars: Episode VIII teased Rey's journey to the dark side. The details were shared on 4chan by a former Lucasfilm employee, monikered Need A New Job.
"She is a reincarnation of the first force user. She has a scene with Luke where they walk through the force and she's able to sense everything around her with ease. The idea is, she is in tune with her emotions which Yoda used to believe was wrong so she is a very angry force user when she faces Ben again. There is a literal blue light she walks around that is the force and you see how it can be twisted to create new powers etc. like the "dark"," he stated.
The industry insider also shared some details about Finn, Rose Tico and Supreme Leader Snoke. "Finn spends the film trying to figure out who Snoke is with Rose. They get help from a lot of people and this is how new planets/characters are shown," he stated.
Additionally, The Last Jedi cast members Mark Hamill and John Boyega teased about the relationship between Finn and Luke Skywalker on Twitter. Here is the tweet:
