General Leia Organa will be back in action when Star Wars returns on screen with Episode VIII - The Last Jedi on December 15. Cast member Oscar Isaac revealed that Carrie Fisher played a "pretty intense" scene during the filming of the movie.

The 38-year-old Guatemalan-American actor referred this particular sequence as one of his favourite scenes from the upcoming science fiction film. According to him, the scene was shot on the first day of his work.

"I can't give anything away but there was a scene where there was some physicality there and it was shot just over and over and over," said the actor, who portrays X-wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron in The Last Jedi.

Isaac stated that there were 25 takes for the scene and continued, "Half of them were on me and half of them were on her." He also opined that it will be really funny to see the final output, adding, "She relished the physicality of it, let me just say. It was pretty intense."

While addressing the media during the premiere of his new film The Promise, X-Men: Apocalypse actor also mentioned how lively Carrie was on set. "At every moment she would just wander over with her Coke — she was constantly drinking Coca-Cola — and find a way to undercut the situation or to cut through something to make me laugh," he told Business Insider.

Isaac also dished about what to expect from the popular characters of Star Wars film series in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. "The characters that you know already: their specific character flaws or their weaknesses get tested. And out of that, I think, you get to see a bit more of who they are. The best way to learn about somebody is to see them in a crisis," The Guardian quoted him.
