Tuesday night came to a close with an interesting star-studded night and cinematic gems such as "Bajirao Mastani", "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Piku" were honoured.
While Ranveer Singh picked up a very well-deserved Best Actor of The Year (Male) at the Guild Awards, Deepika Padukone, who has been doing really well this season, walked away with the Best Actor of The Year (Female) trophy.
Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" sweeped awards emerging a clear winner in prominent categories such as Best Film, Best Story, Best Child Artiste (Harshaali Malhotra) and Best Supporting Actor (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). Strangely, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which was branded as one of the most profitable films of the year, took home one award (Deepak Dobriyal for Best Comic Actor).
Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha set the stage on fire with their special performances.
