SSLC Exam Results to be Updated; Kozhikode to have Highest Pass Percentage, not Kannur: Report

Education Minister PK Abdu Rabb has announced the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results on Monday, 20 April 2015.

The South Indian state has witnessed 97.99 record pass percentage and saw a rise of 2.52 % compared to the previous year.

Out of 4,68,466 students who appeared for the exam, 4,58,841 students became eligible for higher studies.

A total of 12,287 students have secured A+ grade in all the subjects as compared to more than 14,000 last year. There were 1,501 schools that secured cent pass percentage, that includes 471 government,  657 aided and 373 unaided schools.

The students, who failed for the exams can appear for the 'Save a Year' exams from 11 to 16 May.

Among revenue districts, Kannur has got the highest pass percentage at 97.99%, while Palakkad recorded the least at 93.42%. 

The valuation camp began on 31 March and ended on 16 April. This year, the state completed all valuation related tasks, including tabulation at a record pace.

In the previous year, a total of 4.64 lakh students appeared for the exams, of which 4.42 lakh passed, representing a win percentage of 95.47.

The state will begin the plus one admission procedures from 6 May for 3,61,130 seats.
