The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to declare the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I results 2016 on Friday, and the Tier-2 exams will take place in November.

There is no official confirmation from the Staff Selection Commission yet, but several reports have claimed citing reliable sources that the CGL Tier-I result 2016 will be declared on October 7, about a month after the examinations were conducted. So, the results could be announced tonight, if reports turn out to be true.

The commission has already said that the CGL Tier-2 exams (mains) would be tentatively held in November, and complimenting this, posts on a social media group dedicated to SSC exams have claimed that the CGL tier 2 exam 2016 will be conducted on November 9 to November 11.

Most aspirants may be aware of the marks they may score as the commission has released answer key of the exams.

Candidates can check the SSC CGL 2016 CGL Tier-I results at SSC official website ssc.nic.in. Follow the 'SSC CGL Tier 1 Results' link on the site and fill all the required details before pressing the submit button to know the results.

The Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016 Tier-I online exam was conducted from August 27 to September 11. About 25 lakh candidates applied for the exams, but only 14,25,234 appeared for it.

The Staff Selection Commission recruits candidates for several posts like assistant section officer, inspector, income tax inspector, enforcement officer, sub-inspector, divisional accountant, assistant audit officer and several others under group B and C categories through the SSC CGL exams.
